Hey Glenn,

I know you've been growing for a long time, so I'd be interested in hearing some of what you've learned. But the proof is in the pudding - could you show us some of your successes?

Best wishes,
Carl

Count me in too please! I know I'm in a terribly hot zone, and that's a major strike against me. But I'm going to be moving to a better zone in a few months. I'm looking at maples and elms right now. I'm fairly new, so I'll take any wisdom you can pass on. Thanks for the help.

This is one of my growing areas. These pines are shown right before pruning back hard this year.

I would also like to hear about your techniques. I would like to see your successes as well.

Well, I stick to growing pines up at the cabin, mix in wood chips when planting, and I pray a lot.

Glenn;

Sounds like you've got our attention. It also sounds to me like it would be an excellent idea for an article or series of articles you could post on BT to share your experience and wisdom not only with those of us who are currently interested but with others in the future as well.

Oh, btw if you are going to be able to share some photoes of your results as suggested in an earlier post I would be most interested in before / after shots if that is possible.

Just go up 75 to where that old Oak got hit by lightning a few years back and turn right. Take that down to where the old Miller barn used to be and turn left. Keep on that road till you get to the third two-track, then turn right. Now go almost to where the Stevens brothers got in that awful fight then cut north, ain't much of a trail, just follow the swamp contour for a couple more miles and you're there.

Help yourself.
