Just A Little Rain

Guess you could say that we got a little rain today.

For those of you that can read a radar screen here it what it looked like earlier on this afternoon.

I am just outside of Charleston (the wet side as much as I hate to say it.)

Seems like that screen has looked like that a whole lot this year. Any one got a spare set of water wings they can loan me )

Figures (
I have bonsai doing the back stroke and pretty soon they will be ready for the Olympics.
Last fall we finally came out of a 4 1/2 year drought. Wonder which is better. Thirsty or drowning

No wonder we can't get a decent NASCAR race in. They need tread on their tires if this is going to keep up.

Checked my shop earlier today and the water is about 3 inches deep if you go out the side door. Of course the mud is about a mile deep if you go in the front door. Shop is dry though. Well mostly because there are a few leaks in the ceiling.
There were two fish fighting over an aqualung out where the trees are. If Jacque Custoe was still alive he would be there filming.

The trees probably just studied your avatar and gave it a try (even though your avatar does a pitiful backstroke).

We haven't had a drop of rain in 6 weeks and it was 107 today. It brings a whole new meaning to growing trees in pots.

Believe it or not I do know how you feel. We are getting plenty of rain now but last fall brought an end to a 4 1/2 year drought here.
Gone from one extreme to another.
