Just got back from Japan

Hey everyone,
I just got back from a ten day trip from Japan. I have over 1500 photos to filter through, so it will be a couple of days before I post them. I had typed up a long bit on the trip in a New Thread, but it was accidently deleted. Instead, I will talk about it in detail when I post the pictures.

The trip was made possible by Ben Oki, and was centered around bonsai in Japan. The main focus was the Taikan-Ten show, but we also visited many nurseries. If Ben offers this trip again, as he has done in the past, I recommend it to everyone.

I for one am eagerly awaiting your take on the Japanese way. Maybe you can shed some light on why everyone resists Andy's need to express that the Japanese do indeed do it better!

Hope you snuck out some taikan-ten photo's.Thanks, Al

Hi Charles,

Welcome back!

Let me know if you need a folder in the Gallery, Charles. Sorry we missed your first update during the server move. If you know the message is going to be long, you can work in Word or even Notepad, save and then cut & paste into the forum. That way you won't lose anything.

Regards,

Matt

I seem to be having trouble posting messages. Of course, this message and the earlier testing message will show up, but the ones that count always give me an error.
