Juniper Ok? Silver Branches
Greetings folks,
I had a close peak at one of my junipers this morning and I noticed that some of the branches - right below the green - are starting to turn silver. Where the branch sort of twists a bit (maybe this is called a twig) it is turning silver. Some of these "twigs" are green, but some are a silverish gray. Is this normal seasonal behavior or a sign of too much trauma? I did a LOT of work on the tree about 3 weeks ago. There does appear to be some new growth though. So whats the deal, some new growth, a bit of new green in the cracks and crevices, but also this new silverish color in some areas. Ideas? |
