Joshua Roth Tools

Hey there everybody....

Anybody out there have any opinions on the quality of their tools? I am looking to develop a set for my collection of trees and was hoping for some guidance. Thanks so much

I love them. Very sharp and hold an edge.

Joshua Roth Tools are excellent quality at a good price point, with several levels of quality. Is the master set the ones with red vinyl cladding on the handles? These are terrific.

However, there is a "gold standard" for bonsai tools. Masakuni have been the best on the market for many years. There are other brands that some may prefer, but if you want, for instance, the best tweezers money can buy, buy Masakuni. The price point is considerably higher, but no one else makes some of the tools they offer.

Amen. Worth noting that Masakuni "invented" the concave cutter.

There is Dallas Bonsai but I prefer Shibui Bonsai. They have a better selection and the prices are as good if not better than Dallas Bonsai. You can contact them from their web site here. Be warned that they do not list prices or have photos of each tool. If you want a price just email them with the model number. If you want a photo of each tool explore the Masakuni web site here.

If you are ready to take care of a nice tool that will outlast many others then Masakuni is the way to go.
