Jap. White Pine Saplings

My shipment of 25 Japanese White Pine saplings showed up today. These are seed grown and will go into the ground this week once I get well enough to be out in the weather. Most look like they have nice low branches to work with. I will do the picture thing once I get ready to put them out.

If you want any of them to have lower trunk movement, you might want to go ahead and start working on that, say next year as soon as they are established, before they're too thick.
Just a friendly reminder, i'm sure you already knew that though. xD

Yes, I knew they would need lower wiring soon, but not exactly sure when.

I currently have them all in a large planter with some soil since I am trying to get over a cold. If anyone can suggest a better way to hold them over for a few days I would appreciate it. I am trying to keep them (especially the roots) cool.

I got them from Porcupine Hollow Farm: www.porkyfarm.com/ They are 5 years old, I believe is what they told me and were $10 each.

Still need to work on pictures.

I will see what I can do. The issue is my mom just passed away on Sunday and it will be all I can do to get them in the ground before I go back to CA for the service on Saturday. Maybe once I get back next week.
