Interview: William N. Valavanis in BonsaiVillage.net

For those who have several minutes (it is a long interview) our old friend Andy Rutledge did a very nice interview with Bill. I openly admit to being a huge Valavanis supporter, but feel if you have the time (again it is a long interview) it is extremely worthwhile and may give you some food for thought.... -MORE-

Thanx for the link. Bill is the VP of our bonsai club, and tonight he gave a great presentation on pot selection (bringing in many from his personal collection). As a newbee, I'm very grateful having him as a "local" reference source.

Jay,

Thanks for the message. I was wondering what happened to all those great articles that Andy Rutledge spent so much time assembling now that BTO has disappeared.

I'm glad they are available again and perhaps some new articles and photos too!

Stay warm...

Bill

I have to agree that Bill's presentation was very good. Being pretty new to bonsai myself, I thought this was very helpful in learning how to choose pots for my trees. There is a lot about pots that I have never given much thought to. GREAT JOB BILL!!

If anyone ever gets a chance to see Bill do this presentation I would highly recommend doing so.

That was a great article.
Very informative background info.
Some interesting contemporary comments....I hope you don't get any flack Bill
plus, it was worth it JUST FOR the pic of Bill with the caterpillar on his lip from 1969 ...
I'll have to hang on to that
Regards,
Dale
