I recently found a friend wo wants to ship me some Tridents from florida and was able to track down the required info for shipping from the US to Canada!
to import from the US to Canada. you need to fill out this form http://www.inspection.gc.ca/english/for/pdf/c5256e.pdf and pay a fee to get the certificate. This certificate is only good for one exporter, so have the exporter supply you with all the plant types you would be intrested in that they supply. fax this certificate to the exporter to include with the plant shipment. the Exporter needs to acuire a Phyto-Sanitary certificate to include with the plants as well. thats it! the canadian certificate is good for 3 years unles it is coming from certain states, not sure which, but that info can be obtained from the website http://www.inspection.gc.ca/ Hope this is of some help and i hold no responability for mis-information! i suggest calling the people at the above website to confirm the process. This is what i was told, so i am passing on the info. |
