YOU CAN NOT RUSH TIME
|
Info...Info... PLEASE!
OK, here we go again... again. With all the newer members to the list (and with several older ones who have not yet felt the need to enter) I ask that you update your User Cp. Or as you may know it your profile. That way everyone knows a little about you, without telling us where you live.
At the top of the page there are buttons, just click on the first one, it says 'USER CP' then on the next page click on the button that reads 'EDIT PROFILE'. This opens up the page that allows you to change your profile. Answer as many as you feel like but PLEASE fill in 'country' and 'town or county'.. remember we may not know your specific location so list something we may know or can find.. Hey I don't think many of you know of Warwick NY but you may know of Orange County NY, or I could have said 70 miles north of NY City. Last and probably most useful/important list your 'USDA GROW ZONE'.. you can get it if you do not know it from this post (or any post). look to the left under my Name and avitar there is my grow zone (5b/6a). Notice the words USDA Zone are underlined.. put your mouse on it and click, it will take you to a quick link to find your zone, in the US all you need to know is your zip code, but it will help you find the zone for most anywhere. Why is it soo important? When I see you asking a question, or giving an answer to a question, it is helpful to know where you, and more importantly the tree is located. Someone with a question in Zone 6 is in need of a different answer than some one in Zone 4 or someone in zone 8 or 10. Likewise your answer coming from zone 8 may not be 'right on' to someone in zone 5. I know this is a small little thing, but one we can all do to help us understand each other better. If you feel comfortable you can add other info that is asked for but it is all optional and at your desire.... Come on... you can do it!! I promise not to ask again.... OK I will but not for several months Jay

This is going to be the last entry (by me) to this thread. I'm back from the weekend and I see that over 80 views of this thread have happened. I hope that means that many have entered their Data. Thanks for living with my craziness on this topic.
If you haven't entered the data, take a minute and do it!! PLEASE! Jay
