Inexpensive Digital Camera for Contest

Well i am pretty new to the whole Digital Pictures and posting on the forum deal. But i was going to invest in a half way decent digi. Camera. Called a Psy-pics or somthing I think around 50$.. but i wanna try to enter this contest... But i have to act fast.. SO If i get the camera and a good tree to work on ...is there someone i can count on to help me post my pictures so i can try to enter this great oppertunity.
Thanks-
( or if someone could be so kind to look at http://www.target.com/gp/browse.htm...1041&rank=price and see which one would work for just every once in awhile normal use... and cheaper is always better for me lol, and somethign that would work decent anough for adding pictures on this forum)

I'll assist chief....If your going to invest in a Digital Camera, you should consider spending a bit more than $50. You can get nice little brand name Dig. Camera's for about $100-130 if you look around. (Cannon, Fuji, Olympus, Sony.)

Something like this would be more worth your time. Cheap yet effective.
Cheap, Easy to use Camera

they make disposable, one time use cameras now that get processed digitally, so instead of pics, u get a disc. might be a temp fix for you.

so nothing around the 20-40$ range would work... Because it seems id be only using it for posting pics of bonsai...and just day to day goofing off.

Well in the 20-40$ range is the quality you'll get...Very poor quality. Especially for a posting a picture in a contest. I actually like the disposable camera idea, you should think about it. Cheap yet effective.

The price of digital cameras has come down greatly in the last two years. There are many cameras that will do a fine job in the 100.00 dollar range. If the camera around 50.00 is a name brand with a decent lens, and is cheaper due to having no bells and whistles, it would be fine for internet use. I don't think much over 1.5 megapixels will be of any use to you if internet is your only use. You don't really need macro capibility, nor video. Zoom shouldn't be that large a priority. If you buy it a Target, use it post some samples in the test forum and ask for a critique. I'm sure there are many here that will let you know about your photo capibilities. If all fails. target gives you 30 days and your money back, add 50.00 bucks and get a little better one.
