If you didn't get your Newsletter

Our monthly newsletter was emailed Sept 30 (Thursday). This is the first update we have sent in several months.

If you didn't receive the September mailing, you might want to check the following:

1. you may have some type of filtering on your email that prevented it. Some of these filters are very aggressive. You may wish to add *.bonsaiTALK.com to your approved recipient list (whitelist), if your system can handle wildcards. Otherwisem, instead of * use the word webmaster
2. You might have newsletters or receive email from admins turned off in your user control panel. Go to User Control Panel -> Edit Options and look in the block called Messaging and Notification. Make sure you have these settings:
   
   Receive Email from Administrators = Yes
   Receive Community Bulletin Newsletter = Yes
   
   If either of those is NO you will get NO newsletter. By default, they're YES, but you might have changed either one at registration.
   
   Also you can set your Newsletter Type to HTML (check) to get images and hotlinks or TEXT if you are using an email client that doesn't support it.
3. We have had quite a few registrations since the newsletter was sent, so if you've just registered, you might not have received one for that reason.
4. Sometimes email users have a limit on the number and size of messages they can receive. The newsletter is very small, just 32K, but if your email box is full, it might bounce back to us. At any given time that happens with about 1/5 of the free email addresses (yahoo, msn, etc.) We'll try to give fair warning before the next newsletter goes out so you can keep that email box cleaned out.

The next Newsletter is planned to go out sometime after mid October. As always your feedback is appreciated.
