ID Help Needed for Tree

I've been careless and can't figure out what this guy is. I was messing around with a lot of different kinds of nursery stock last year and was dumb & cocky enough not to bother keeping records. Small (3/4" long x 1/4" wide or so), soft, non-waxy leaves with smooth edges and pointed tips, alternatingly pinnate. Any help much appreciated.

No, I don't think it's a ficus (I don't think ficus have pinnate leaves, for one thing, and all the ficii I've played with have waxy leaves rather than the soft matte sort of surface on these). Another intriguing thing--the leaves seem a little photosensitive, in that they droop after sunset and perk back up in the morning.
