ID on bug

I don't know what kind of bug this is...Do you?

I named him Orange.

He's about an inch long. When he was a baby he was light,clear green.
He hangs around. Doesn't seem to harming anything...just eating the ants that try to get near my plants.

Looks like an assassin bug. They eat just about any other bug that comes around. Good guy. Of course there are more experienced people that will correct me if I am wrong. If they correct me, chances are they are right.

An Assasin Bug was my thought. But I'm not sure.

awww you should be a proud father hes photogenic too I see...cheesing into the camera for ya. if you look at his back it does look like hes a set of small black wings there
