The trifoil leaf together with it's serrated edges would also suggest Acer rubescens and Acer rufinerve, which have a similar leaf shape as well... Acer spicatum has the same serrated edges, but comes not only three but also five-lobed, and Acer tataricum subsp. ginnala may just be another possibility...

Difficult to see in your images. Got any better pics?

Stefan

could be a number to maples, including Amur, as noted before. Amur maple leaves sometimes have this kind of finer serration, but so do a number of others, Acer truncatum, especially looks alot like amur. You might get better ID results by asking locally-is this a tree you bought? Do you know the source?

Hi,

The tree is a free growing landscape tree located near me,all of those leafs are full grown and I used a macro lens if that helps with scale.

If it's just a tree growing around your neighborhood, chances are it's indeed an Amur maple, Acer tataricum subsp. ginnala. The others are all rarer and not used in urban plantings. It's the likeliest one anyway...

I'd agree. Most likely Amur, as that's alot more common than the others for landscape use.

Na..not a Red maple. These are some type of small and fancy leafed species being used by the local college campus to make a hedge row.
