I need Crab apple growing advise

What is the best meduim to grow Crab`s in and what fertilizer makes them grow quick any tips for me please.

I will post a pic of my Crab soon.

Well, Nathanp, that really depends on what exactly you mean by "best." If you want them to grow "quick," I would put them in the ground and not use any mix at all.

Most all fruit trees will do quite well in 100% unfired (soft) akadama with organic fertilizer cake.

Thumbs up Crab Apple soil

Here in the SouthWest of the UK I find that my crabs like a free draining soil and hate being dry for anything more than a few moments during the Summer, best results thus far have been acadama 65% Kyodama 15-20% and topped up with one of those bags of general soil at a Nursery, I add some frit and various other trace elements at the same time, the main trick is to ensure free draining (hmmm thats never been said before, I bet!!) soil but one that is retentive of general moisture to keep the tree happy.
