Hello everyone, it's me, rick123,
I had a few problems with the wife, so I moved out with my trees and have finally bought a cheap conputer to get back online. it took a while to find a suitable home for mylittle collection and i do have some casualties, my ego has taken a battering but hopefully i am through the worst of it now. Ihave registered under a new username, now I have to get used to the new look forum[ looks ok matt!] I am pleased to see the numbers have increased since i've been gone too. now to read some posts, and see some pictures. |

Sorry to hear about your relationship problems.Relationships are a hell of alot harder to work on than bonsai. At least you still have your tree's.
My wife left me and took my Bonsai tree I was devastated I could not sleep at night, could not eat or even face the world Oh how I miss that tree. ps. wifes still here really, just trying to put a smile on your face. |

Seeker: The new handle is a good one. It is good to have you back. You are correct in that there is one heck of a lot of reading to catch up on.

Thank you all for the kind words, with folks like yourselves
out there I will never be alone. It took me awhile to find the right place to live, with my trees, I found a two bedroom flat, ground floor, garden front and rear. rear garden is small,(50squareyards)but terraced upwards, very well protected against the weather. When I moved in, I treated myself to a carmona mycrophillia, its doing well at the moment. When I have settled in properly, I will be able to devote more resources to my trees, for the moment I am concerned with keeping them watered and fed . once again thanks. |

Geez, my wife keeps using my trees as an analogy for our relationship. So I sprayed her with the hose yesterday and offered to trim a few limbs!
But there's a lot to be said about that. I feel that working on bonsai HAS helped my relationship. The patience alone has made me a much better person. Anyone else? Capt. Jack PS Seeker- It'll help when you finally find your soulmate!-j |
