Horrible birds, lazy dog

i get home today only to find my dog sleeping on his bed, with the brids only 2 meters away attacking my favourite Taxodium Distichum. breaking of a newly formed branch which i was growing to balance out the tree.

dont you hate lazy bonsai guard dogs?

thank you yes she is cute for any kinda dog.
so why not a fan of pit bulls?
because they attack people?
any dog will attack someone if you treat it wrong
if you trained your jack russell to attack people it would
there are only bad people not bad dogs they act how we teach them to
did you know a cocker spaniel is the most likely dog to bite? noone looks at the facts only the news'

that and ya never hear the good pitbull news, like "dogs efforts awake man in time to save baby" or that type of thing. i was afraid of pits all my life because of the news. my wife had one before we were married, so now i have one and he is without a doubt the best dog i have ever had!!! (which is saying quite a bit cuz i have had some great dogs in my life) his mannerism is top notch, its all in the training and upbringing.

man dog is more gentle than any lap dog around. a few bad stories scare alot of people away from the dog. there was a collie right down the street from me that mauled this little kid bad! if it were a pit bull it would have made the 6 oclock news top story but since it was a collie there wasnt even a small story in the paper.

I agree that dogs are a product of their masters. However, some dogs' temperaments do make them more prone, or easier to train, to bite. You very rarely see a St. Bernard trained as a police patrol K9 because of their natural "easy, happy go lucky, never met a stranger" attitude. They do, however, make good drug or cadaver dogs. Of course, there are exceptions to this, as in anything else. Pits were bred for fighting. Their posture, build and temperament reflect this breeding. A well-bred pit will be gentle unless trained to be otherwise, but a poorly bred pit will be more subject to its breed's temperament to fight. For what it's worth, I am much more cautious around a strange chihuaha than I am around any other breed...including a pit. These small dogs have a serious nervous tendancy, and will quickly bite out of fear. Just my lil' ole opinion...

Regards,
John

well because they are aggresive dogs, naturally and because they are strong powerful dogs people train them to be violent. its just how it is, sad yes. i like my little funny dogs like my littel jack russel. and soon he is getting a freind, a nice little pug.

my parents have a chihuaha that is as big around as he is tall which is the result of having his manhood taken imho that will bite you in a second whether he knows you or not. only 1 person can pet him at a time or your bit you get around his food your bit he just doesnt like the way you look or smelll that day he will probably bite you. hes bit me probably 1000 times in his 13 years and i still love him. Never been bit by my pit though or the neopolitan mastiff i had for 12 years so i deffinetly agree the little ones will tear you up quick.

the reason why people dont care if small dogs are violant is because they are weak and cannot do much hard, they can easily have a lesson taught to them. but pitbulls, dobermans etc are strong dogs and can easily over power a human.
