Holly info Please ?

Dear treelovers

Very much I would like to know how to
go along with my Holly's

There are 2 .
One is a small Holly with fresh green mini leaves .
The other one is a Japanese Holly , with green / red super-mini leaves.

The Japanese Holly was sick , lost almost all his leaves ,
but is recovering and doing well.

The small Holly was indoors ( cool ) in winter , looking good , but ,
allthough the leaves have a very good color , they fall !!!! now , in spring
I can't get it right with this Holly !
How much water does need ? when to cut ? does it backbud easy
on old wood ? when to wire ? does it need much fertilizer ?
So many questions , but I like the Holly's very much !
Thank You
Kind regards

Morea,

I don't know much about holly beyond the ones that I grew up looking at in my parents yard. They are pretty slow growing. And I think the Japanese Holly is zone 5-7. Here's a lil bit of information if you have not seen it yet.

Hope that is helpful.

Kind Regards,

Dear Victrinia

Thank You very much for the link

It helped indeed for an other kind of Holly
in a pot here.
Now I know the proper name and how to do it !

The Holly 's I was talking about in the first mail are
like Christmas Holly , with the pointy leaves !
They are so small on the bonsai' s.
I like them very much !
Kind regards
Morea
