High Intensity Lighting
I was snooping around the net the other day and came across a site called the Property Room (as in Police Departments)
http://www.stealitback.com/ (Love that URL!) This is all police stuff and includes quite a bit of seized horticultural equipment including lighting. You should know what you're doing, as the power wires have usually been cut, but the savings are huge. I would only recommend this for legitimate uses. Clearly this stuff comes from weed busts, and the cops will know where it's going. ![]() |

Another source that can be good (or not, as the auction threads have beat to death) is Ebay. I was able to get a great deal on a complete 400 watt metal halide system a year or two ago.
Has anyone used any of the micro systems? I just was looking around the web and see systems with as small as 100 watts. Might be able to cram a few more lights here and there... Will |
