High Intensity Lighting

I was snooping around the net the other day and came across a site called the Property Room (as in Police Departments)

http://www.stealitback.com/

(Love that URL!)

This is all police stuff and includes quite a bit of seized horticultural equipment including lighting.

You should know what you're doing, as the power wires have usually been cut, but the savings are huge.

I would only recommend this for legitimate uses. Clearly this stuff comes from weed busts, and the cops will know where it's going.

Another source that can be good (or not, as the auction threads have beat to death) is Ebay. I was able to get a great deal on a complete 400 watt metal halide system a year or two ago.

Has anyone used any of the micro systems? I just was looking around the web and see systems with as small as 100 watts. Might be able to cram a few more lights here and there...
