Another tip is to keep it enclosed in a polythene enclosure - if you can construct a polythene cloche (I use 2 long pieces of 3mm wire bent into arches and attached by thin wire pulled tight at the top). Polythene is draped over the top and the base of the polythene is punctured and kept tight by allowing the wire to pierce the bottom on all 4 legs.

This is a great re-usable cloche I also use the raise seeds and cuttings.
