Hello

hello every one! i am new to the web site, but very exited. i also have a few questions. does any one know of any bonsai teachers in missiori? or any nurseries? i have a verginia red ceder that was collected and was putting of new growth but was blown out of its training pot and is now starting to brown out. i am wattering dayly but it continues to brown slowly. any suggestions?

Greeting BonsaiboyMO and welcome to the site. As far as your red cedar (Juniperus Virginainas) goes. ...put it in a area that gets morning sun till about 11. Keep the soil moist, not drenched. Cross your fingers and pray.
Also you may want to secure the pot and tree so that it doesn't happen again

You're about halfway between 2 clubs in Missouri that I know of. There are clubs in both Kansas City and St. Louis. There is also a fine "young" artist that frequents here from Ottawa, KS, BonsaiKC aka Chris Johnston, who is very helpful and a good teacher. (yes Chris is a bud, but he didn't pay me to say that!)
