Graft Azelea to Rhodedendron?
I was thinking about how often you can get your (at least I can) hands on rhodedendrons as urban yamadori, but with nodes and leaf size they don't get used as bonsai, even though they can exhibit awsome trunks. Has anyone tried or know of someone grafting say satsuki azelea to a Rhodedendron, like shimpaku on a san jose. Seems you could have an awsome trunk, with great foliage, and flowers.
