Goldcoast Bonsai nursaries

YAY! Going to Queensland! Yay! Staying in the Goldcoast!

So... Are there any Goldcoast bonsai nursaries I should visit while I'm enjoying the sun (there had BETTER be some sun...)?
Seriously, I need to get out more.

If you can get to the Mt. Coottha bortanical gardens they have about 5000 trees which are rotated so that only about 100 are on display at any one time.

I've been to Bonsai World a couple of years ago. I'd recommend it definately. It has some excellent tropicals and is set in one of the most beautiful places I've ever seen a nursery.
Cheers,
Anthony

Also if you have the time visit Northside Bonsai one of the best Bonsai nurserys in Queensland! Well worth the time to travel a bit further north!

Bonsai Northside is worth a visit, and it is only about 1.5 hours travel from the Gold Coast. Good selections there and very friendly people. Let them know you are a BTer.
Peter.

it'll be difficult to head too far out of my way since I'll also be having with me a couple of people who don't really care for bonsai.
Also lack of car will be a problem
