Gathering info on Ficus burtt-davyii
Hello all,
I'm preparing to write a plant review for our local club newsletter. The subject: Ficus burtt-davyii, a.k.a. veldt fig, scrambler fig, and South African fig. This species is still new enough to bonsai that there's almost nothing in the literature -- printed or on-line -- about it. So, if any of you who grow it would care to offer comments based on your own experiences, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks in advance. I have about two weeks -- to mid-October -- in which to write this. Steve

Hey Steve, i will ask some local growers for some info. I have seen a lot of them popping up around here in recent times. Hopefully i can convince some of our members to part with some info for you.

Thanks, Andy. Info from those who live with the tree in the landscape could be especially helpful.
