Fukien Tea Back To Health
my friend has a Fukien tea that he purchased about a month ago. He really wasnt taking good care of it. He said that he forgot to water it a couple times, and left it in the house most of the time. All of the trees leaves were crispy and fallling off. So since i cared about his tree and how it was pretty much dead i decided that i would take it into my caring hands and see if i could bring it back to life. So i took all the leaves off with some tweezers and gave it some water a couple times a day, and put it outside in some sunlight. I had it for about 2 weeks, and looked yesterday afternoon and found some new growth on the branches. I was very happy that i could nurse his tree back to health. I am going to take care of it for another week and give it back to him. I hope he wont forget about it and give it the attention that it needs.

Stickboy:
I think I would keep the tree in the shade for a couple of weeks after defoliating it. Fukien Teas like bright light and warmth and never should they be allowed to dry out. For the winter it will need a bright grow light, and temps near 80ºF to thrive. It is also temperamental to overfertilizing and insecticides. Use diluted soluble fertilizer. For insects, fungus etc. I have good success with Neem Oil and Fertiloam's Red Spider and Might Spray. Good Luck!
