Red Leaf florida maple

last week i was over at disneyworld (i had some family in town). while there, i noticed some cool looking maples. the bark was fairly smooth, but the leaves were kind of big. i know this is kind of a shot in the dark, but does anyone know what kind of maple will actually grow in central florida? or at least at disney world? any info would be greatly appreciated.
