Thank you all for your nice comments. Bonsainut: The background is a 3 foot by 4 foot canvas that I just painted a simple sky and prop it up when I want to take pictures of some of my trees. Unfortunately, some of my trees are too tall for the canvas, then I have to resort to a black velvet background. ![]()

Thanks for the info. I did an ebay search for backgrounds. Seems there is quite a market for painted backgrounds. Also quite a few virtual baackgrounds. Thanks

I have been letting my Ficus Retusa grow wild, since we had a very cold spring, and I defoliated it after bringing it outdoors from my tree house.
I just snapped this picture this morning.. Sorry for the bad back ground, but I have been busy teaching, and haven't had time to do a formal picture.
