Email Reminders...

For some reason I only recieve e-mail reminders for about half of the threads I post on. Is there a reason?

Currently the QUICK REPLY box (the one at the bottom of the screen) does not flag you for email notification. I will see about changing this in the near future. If you need a notification when someone replies to your post, use the standard reply feature (click the Post Reply button instead of using the simple text box)

WHAT WE'RE TALKING ABOUT...
You can configure your Messaging & Notification options within your User Control Panel to inform you by email whenever there is a reply to a thread in which you posted. If you want to do that, click USER CP -> EDIT OPTIONS -> Messaging & Notification -> Set 'Email Notification by Default' to Yes. personally I don't use it.

Thanks. I guess I will just use the normal reply all the time then. I can never keep track of the posts without the reminders.

Okay - a small tweak, now if you have email notification on and use the Quickreply box, you should automatically notified of a response.

However, if there are complaints, I may have to disable it. I don't use notification so it would be a help to me if you could verify that it is working properly..

I dont think it is working. I am not getting any email notifications by using the quick reply.

I don't know if it will send you a notification if you are the one who is replying to your own post. I would suspect not. I think there is a filter for that or you'd be getting emails whenever you posted a string of pictures. Maybe you'll get one now that I have responded.

Who knows?
