A really old White Bark Pine, Pinus Albacaulus, the higher altitude the better.

There are so many...if I had the means...

But a large, old, well-branched, with a big spreading nebari - japanese winterberrry (Ilex Serrata) would be nice! There's just something about one of those bare in the winter with a ton of berries on it.

But, like I said, there are so many I covet...

I'm rather partial to a good pine. Well aged. Any variety would do. Apart from that I've always had a soft spot for an olive tree. Or a big ficus. A japanese maple would be nice i supose.... heng on, i'm guna stop here. Either that or i'll end up running of a huge list of everything i haven't got yet! lol.

Why didn't I think of that one! Olea Europea! I have four already and can't seem to stop myself when I see one. If I ever found a large one, I would be in trouble...

white pine, somewhere around 12 inches tall with a nice fat trunk. i too find that they cost quite a few pennies. the one i had was grafted to a black pine trunk, and has since died. waiting on a japanese maple that i have to fatten up, if i didn't already own it, that would be one too (common tree around here).

I'm in with the gang who would just die to have a japanese beech... Makes a girl sigh just thinking about it... lol
Few things turn my head like a glorious beech in winter.

Kindest Regards,
