Developing Stock
Walter mentioned in another thread, concerning developing stock, that you should plant in the ground and cut back twice a year. What times of year should each of the cuts be made and how drastically should they be cut?
Thanks in advance, Weirdowl |

Hi Weirdowl,
I don't have your answer, but it would help others to give it to you if you could say which species you have in mind. Regards, TB

Thanks Treebeard,
I have a few different species in mind. I'm mostly interested in deciduous trees like Trident Maple and Japanese Maple but any advice on Juniper or Chinese Elm would be much appreciated too. Thanks! Weirdowl |
