just a quick question.
I have searched and searched around my town and cant find any cut paste can candel wax be used ![]() ![]() help!!

cant you just use grafting wax?

Anything that will prevent moisture loss, and little critters from getting into the wound would help. I have heard everything from modeling clay, paint, elmers glue, and everything in between. From what I have been able to pick up, actual cut paste has additives to aid in faster healing.

Quit trying to reinvent the wheel and buy good cut past from Matt.
This stuf sounds expensive until you see how well it helps wounds on your tree to heal, then all of a sudden it looks more reasonable. Glenn

If you use the putty in the tub (Not the stuff in a tube!!! ), it will pop off when it is time. At that time you can check the rate of healing, and if you need to work on the callus a little more, do it again.
