Club Visit to New World Bonsai

Rob has some great stock at great prices. I got 3 excellent trees (Boxwood/Yew/Hawthorn) and stayed under $100. I'll get some pics up soon. My camera died and is on it's way to Canon support.

You can see the Hawthorn I got in his gallery.

Drop Rob an email. (rob@newworldhorticulture.com) I'm sure he would if he has something you're interested in.

Now that's a modern yamadori experience! Forget about collecting in the mountain for most of us. I love going to those type of nurseries where pre-bonsai trees are being grown out like that.

Good finds on your trees too. That yew tree has got some good curves, taper and all the right branches. It's worth a hundred dollar by itself. The front might be the other side though, especially if the nebari continues the curve down below the soil line. Good luck with it!

Si
