Yes, it's mid-spring here in Lisbon and for the last 3 days I feel I'm over a over hot tin roof.
What I'm talking about is a solid 35º (95F) although yesterday my car was reading 41º (105.8 ) after being left in the out for 3 hours.
Did I mention the sky was half cloudy?

There are two things you might want to consider here, there are a lot of conservitives that belong to this forum. Secondly conservitives are not so much against the idea of global warming as they are about the causes.

fair cop vance,

seems i am the fish in the pond who took that bait, my appologies folks.

i am frustrated with the recent directions my government is taking.
backwards is the status quo.

bonsaitalkers, conservative or radical, take a moment each day to consider your surroundings or one day there may be no water left to water your treasure and no more outings to look for yamadori.

In this one quote you have displayed all of the symptoms of a serious Kool-Aid drinker. I find it hard not to stereotype you as a "whining greeny radical" just as you have stereotyped all conservatives as people who don't care about the environment.

You assume all scientists agree that man all by himself is causing "Global Warming" and destroying the Earth. You will find in the research/education community just as much debate as anywhere else regarding the causes of "Global Warming". Man will come and go just like the dinosaurs and Mother Earth will continue on... noting our existence as a "flash in the pan". Hate to point out our insignificance.

We should get back to bonsai... something we all can agree on.

Yes Vance. We should be done with this one. Politics are hateful. We should all agree never to discuss politics here at BT.

We have had a few "Global Warming" debates before.... and I'm sorry to say the mix of politics does not go down well with Bonsai.

However, for those who might like to debate their views and vent some feelings on the matter - I've found a great forum here

Ian.
