Circus And Furniture Trees
Here's a fun link from an Arborsculptor named Richard Reames
http://www.arborsmith.com/ It features (living) circus and furniture trees One of the pages has some work by Axel Erlandson, who originally sculpted the trees now on view at Bonfante Gardens in the Gilroy, CA area. Regards, Matt

Interesting !! The photo gallery and links on that page are facinating. The idea of living in a house one grew themselves would be very intreging. Living in a large house shaped tree.. with a backyard full of dwarf trees, ain't that a bit ironic
![]() This really brings up some GOOD ideas for us to use/and practice our horticultural skills too!! Maybe not by building a house, or just strange designs in trees... but rather: 1. Grow your own living grow/display benches ?? 2. Grow a nicely designed privacy fence/windbreak/shade support. 3. Grow monkey poles? 4. Grow a display stand (mame, cascade,etc.). I really like the display bench idea..if I had a house and property I'd start one now. It would be wild to take a cutting from your bench and grow it into a bonsai to display on it ![]() This site and idea is going to keep my mind entertained for a while Last edited by Bonsai-gecko : 4-Sep-2003 at 07:43 PM. |
