Chinese Elm - suggestions please
I have been given an idea from another (not so good) forum about this tree.
Please give your suggestions so I can cherry pick the best answer. The ttree is 20 yrs old and has been through a few changes, it is attached (permanently) to the ironstone and they are now inseparable. I've put first the original tree, and then the two pics that were suggested to me. Before I take the plunge I would like some comments from this the best forum. |

I think in its winter form without the extra leggy branches it looks like Penjing which I enjoy, but points concerning the trunk movement not following a widswept theme make alot of sence.

I actually kind of like what Ive seen in #23485. Maybe you could do that to the more bottom branch and do what i suggested to the top (Canopy.)
Check out my little virt. Best of luck and keep us updated on the unique elm! -Evan

Very nice tree...
I like #23485...however...
The two upper left-most small branches...I would remove, or, give them the wind-swept treatment that we see in the rest of the tree.
