chinese elm pruning
hi, this is yet another thread about my elm. I recently posted threads about the black spot fungus, and spiders on my bonsai. Now i want to know when would be a good time to wire the tree up, and prune some of the branches. I know i was told to leave it alone, and im not in any kind of rush but i would just like to know when i can start to do these things. I am well aware that i could have to wait a while, but please correct me if im wrong. thanks!

Hard pruning in late winter/early spring, and shaping throughout the growing season.
