Cd Offer Has Ended

The CD Offer for February has ended. All contributors who made submissions in February and prior to the posting of this notice, will receive their CDs.

I will be receiving the master CD from Charles in a couple of days. Then I will need to duplicate and mail it. It should definitely arrive by end of March. I will post when the mailing goes out. Please let me know if you don't receive it. Within a week of that posting (Non-US addresses may take somewhat longer)

Thanks for your generosity and patience!

Matt

I have pics (through another source). Is there a reason we cannot post? I asked the person I got the pics from and they asked Ben Oki. Ben said it is ok as long as it is for educational purposes. Well I don't know about you but for me a picture is worth a thousand words and I learn from every pic that I see. Thoughts? I have not posted cause I thought I heard/read that they should not be posted and that is the last thing I need (a lawsuit).

Thanks!!!

Hi Newt,

You're asking a couple of different questions here.

1) I would not post photos without written permission from the source, and I would be very careful about hearsay regarding the origin or application of photos that came into my possession.

2) I have posted pictures from TAIKAN-TEN 2000. It's possible that since that time, there are rules, regulations or laws that prohibit it. I don't know, but at the time there were no such restrictions on me that I am aware of.

3) If you have legal questions it is probably advisable to consult a legal forum, rather than a bonsai forum. Here on bonsaiTALK, everyone is biased by a desire to see your photos. There, on legalTALK the only bias is a desire to consume your firstborn.

Regards,

Matt

Gday Poots et al!

7 days to activate a Paypal account? Mine was activated straight away, and I am now no longer a freeloader. Just dumb luck that there happened to be a CD on offer - I knew nothing about it until Matt PM'ed me for my postal address.

See you in the trenches.

Fly.
