Can you trust the information online?
According to this article, Wikipedia is very reliable in many areas:
http://www.cnn.com/2005/TECH/intern...a.ap/index.html Sure, some mistakes appear, but on the whole it's pretty good, compared to printed Encyclopedia. I think this speaks not to the internet as a whole, but rather to the reliability of a group effort in knowledge gathering. This bodes well for our venture here, and for the results of those hard-nosed members who insist on strict review of online info. Your efforts pay off! pootsie |

I think one of the best things about wiki is that if you have any problems with the articles you as a reader can report them and report bias. Often many of the articles are written by people who are educated in the field and offer very contemporary information. In my con law class, we were encouraged to use wiki as a resource to determine what popular sentiment and understanding of such things as natural rights, due process, and the right to privacy entails. I find wiki also to be good at explaining pop culture phenomenon.

Unless you're John Seigenthaler and have been accused of assassinating the President in one of the entries. If I were John, I would be a little miffed ![]() |
