Question Can you please help us identify this bonsai?

We bought this from wal-mart and of course they have just a generic tag that lets you know it is a bonsai tree and nothing more. I tried to research what type of tree it was, even tried "tree key" identifiers, but have had no success. The picture came out a bit too bright so you cannot see the bark, but it is similar to the bark of a maple tree (brownish-grey color). Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!! Here is a link to the picture:

Thank you!

Lets see what anyone else has to say.

It is similar to the one in your picture, but the flowers this one had were also white and with 5 petals, but they were smaller and more compact than the one in your picture. Our best guess is something along the lines of a crabapple, but the leaves don't seem to match up (if you look close, they are jagged at the ends).

This one is a big mystery to us.... !

The picture in my avatar is of my serissa. the tree in your picture isnt a serissa... This could also be a fukien tea, their trunks usually do something crazy like the one in your pic. And i think they might have small compact white flowers, but usually in spring... Again, I could be wrong, we need a more noliable person than myself to comment here.

Hope that helps though.

EDIT: Im almost positive this a fukien tea, i zoomed in on some leaves and saw the little dots fukien teas usually have on their leaves. This is a fukien tea im pretty sure.

Thank you!!! I've looked at those before as a possibility, but I've been focusing on the jagged leaves so much and didn't notice that not every leaf is jagged.Thank you both again!

No problem! Yeah, at first the few jagged leaves threw me off too.

Good Luck!
Heres some info on the fukien tea: http://www.bonsai-bci.com/species/fukien.html
