Bus Trip To Mary Madison's

The Treasure Coast Bonsai Society and Bonsai Society of Brevard took a bus trip down south to Homestead to visit Mary Madison's place. We also stopped at an import pot warehouse where we could buy supplies at extremely low prices. Our last stop was at Avant Gardens. On the bus ride home, the luggage area was filled to the max and people were holding trees, pots, etc. in there laps.

Here are some photos from the trip. Mary Madison-

I am sure Many people have seen this Buttonwood before. I don't remember the name of it, but it is probably the best tree in here collection. Height is about four feet tall (just a guess).

This little shohin has won President's Award at two different shows. Small in size, but large in value.

A large buttonwood potted in a childrens pool. This one still has a few years, but it will look great once it is finished.

I bought two trees. The bald cypress was from Mary Madison's place and the buttonwood was from Avant Gardens. Mary Madison's place had been picked clean of high quality buttonwoods before we had arrived.
