What about investing $10 in the domain name? Isn't this like investing in real estate for capital appreciation?  |

I suppose someone could buy that domain and point it somewhere else. There were actually relatively few links to the site, so it probably isn't worth the effort. It probably would had continued to gain many, many more links if access continued. Hopefully someone owns it and backed up the content and it won't be lost forever. That was a lot of effort at editing, writing and interviewing by Andy Rutledge, lots of articles by others, and who knows how many translations. Losing the BTOJ and Bonsai Web forum in the same month is certainly a blow to the hobby. Regards, Matt
