Good show guys!!! Next year please shoot me an e-mail or something. I would have liked to attend.

I have got photos from the All State Michigan Bonsai Show if anyone is interested. I do not have the pictures edited yet but could get it done in a few days (I have a funeral today so I don't have time now).

Here is Jack Wykle's Hinoki Cypress. This tree took first place in the peoples choice (the only voting at this show).

Chris shoot me a PM if you would like these set up as a gallery.

That was a cool show, first one I have been to and I really enjoyed it. I even bought one of Vance's tree's. Thanks for the tree Vance and all the helpful advice!

We had a visit from the Japanese Consulate at the show, that's him and myself in picture number one. Picture two is my humble winning entry this year.

That stupid look I had on my face that makes me look like a rabid chipmunk in this picture scared the halo away.... Man, what a horrible picture.

Here are some other shots of BT members entries at the show...

1) Vance Hanna's Eastern Red Cedar
2) Nick Keren with his Larch
3) Vance Wood's Mugho
4) One of many demos at the show, this one on how to judge a bonsai.
5) Another shot of Nick's Larch
6) Another excellent entry.

There were just a handful of vendors amazingly, considering that is was in downtown Royal Oak on the same weekend as the famous Pottery and Glass show. There were only cheap imported pots available at a couple vendors, nothing nice. Maybe you should take a ride up next year Dale. It would be nice to have some quality pots available. (Mentioned often at this show)

Well how about sending me offline some info and/or vendor chairmans info. Possible. I'm looking for some shows to do.
I usually do the Ann Arbor show but that is in Mid August. I'm looking for some more spring, and especially Fall shows.

Dale

I'll do that as soon as I get home Dale. It'll be a pleasure to have you there and the arrangements are very fair. Let me know also when you will be in Ann Arbor, I would very much like to meet you. (And pick up a couple pots)
