CLUBS & ORGANISATIONS = None in area ONLINE HAUNTS = *BONSAI COLLECTION* TREES (total) = Stock up to 25 at a time. Started selling them in November 2001. Sold around 30 so far. ACTUAL BONSAI = Living in Santiam Canyon. Population 3,000 living in 50 mile streach. POTENTSAI (future bonsai) = Moving to Oregon Coast. Demand there expected to be higher than here but I'll still only do about 50 trees a year. DISLIKES = the current fad of excessive wood and carving
BONSAI PHILOSOPHY = Bonsai should be a personal expression and not dictated by country or other people. Personally, I did to go towards a naturalistic expression but believe all bonsai is stylized and abstract so don't make a very big deal about it.
BIGGEST CHALLENGE = Patience and keeping trees alive in our hot, dry summers.

CLUBS & ORGANISATIONS = None. Don't know of any in New Zealand yet. *BONSAI COLLECTION* TREES (total) = Two ACTUAL BONSAI = Two POTENTSAI (future bonsai) = Hopefully one in the near future DISPLAY STANDS = None THE IDEAL SIZE COLLECTION IS: As big as you like as love you as you love and care for each one exactly the same as the others. *FAVOURITES* SPECIES (NAME 3) = Bouganvillea DISLIKES = Those poor little mallsai trees. BONSAI PHILOSOPHY = Express yourself but also be willing to learn from the tree itself. BIGGEST CHALLENGE = Helping Bob (my bonsai) get back on his feet. He is a bit sick at the moment. If anyone can help that would be muchly appreciated! *PROPAGATION* SPECIES COLLECTED = Juniper p. nana x2 GRAFTED = None LAYERED = None SEED = I have yet to plant them but I do have them...
