Bonsai pot heaven!!!!
Hi folks,
Just spent the afternoon in bonsai pot heaven. I've been creating a ginko forest and having decided it was alittle short of trees I payed a visit to A to Z Bonsai Starters just outside of Monbulk. Low and behold, I arrive and there are pots and pots and even more pots everywhere. Speaking to the owner, I was told they had just taken delivery of a 40 foot container of Chinese pots of all shapes and sizes. These pots range in size from 15cm/6inches right up to pots nearly 3 feet long. They have over 40 different styles of pots and the different sizes in each style. Now for the best part, the price!!!!! These pots are CHEAP!!!!!! I picked up a cascade pot, 18 inches high, 8 inches square for 25 dollars. I was also told that if anyone chooses to buy a number of pots then there are discounts available. I've often heard that bonsai can be an expensive hobby, especially when it comes to pots. Well, no more. For anyone growing bonsai in Melbourne Australia, pay a visit and mention that you heard about the pots at Bonsaitalk internet forum and you will be pleasantly surprised at the price you pay for good quality bonsai pots. Anyway, after browsing the pots I was able to pick up another half dozen ginkos for the forest. I'll post pics of it soon. Disclaimer: I am in no way affiliated with A to Z Bonsai Starters. I am a frequent customer of theirs and like to promote anyone that gives good service. I also like to pass on information regarding bargains that I find along the way. Regards, Ross. |

Hey Ross,
Thanks for the update. I'd be interested to see what the pots look like if you managed to take photos. Thanks David

Tim is usually pretty good about photos. I would like to know what he has so I can purchase more pots for my club. We haven't been able to find cascade pots and very large sized pots lately so if you could take a few photos of them that would be much appreciated.
Thank Ross. David
