Question Bonsai leaves were twitching?!

Hi Everyone,

I am new here. This Saturday it will be 3 weeks since I purchased a Golden Gate Bonsai, or known as the Golden Gate Ficus. The Bonsai's leaves have grown beautifully, this is my first tree. I have encased it in a glass greenhouse by the window, because I do have birds that will eat anything green in sight.
So to protect my birds and the tree, I took the safe route. The tree is in excellent health, water conditions are great, and the leaves are a healthy green.
I am very thankful the Lord has blessed me of taking care of the tree. Now it's not by any air conditioning, no fan, and no breeze because it's in the glass case.
I was sitting at my desk yesterday and turned around and saw 8 leaves on the right side, and 6 leaves on the left side of the Bonsai were twitching. The branches were not moving, nor any of the other leaves were moving. Everything was still, except those leaves. No vibrations, the house was quiet.....nothing. I thought I was loosing my mind, and called my mom, and she came in and looked at the tree..both of us were puzzled. I checked the tree, no bugs, just nothing. It lasted for 3 minutes then stopped. It did it again this morning for 30 seconds but only 5 leaves were doing it.

Any thoughts?

*Also the Bonsai has new growth coming in.

PLease be careful that your tree does not get to hot in that glass case. Almost no amount of water will save it from too much dry high teperature in an enclosure. And if it is subject to draughts fro your heating/ac vents you may want to consider relocating it.
