So Regis,
Fill us in. Where is the demo area? is it a garden in Prague? Who are the people working on the chunky tree? It looks terrific.

Thanks, I'm glad you like it.
All of these photos are from the Prague Botanical Garden, located near the Prague zoo and the river Vltava. There's a beautiful japanese garden, where the exhibition was held, with bonsai trees from Czech Rep., Slovakia, Poland and Germany. People on the last photos are Vaclav Novak, president of the Czech Bonsai Association and Jan Bucil, who is well known in our country, and in Great Britain as "Mr. Jin", because of his precise work on dead wood, as well ![]() I do not unfortunatelly have the photos of progress, which they did with the tree and these three photos are of poor quality, so it may look terrific, as Ralph said. But believe me, they did absolutely perfect work, even on a very poor tree. I was greatly amaze by their work, especially on the shari. The whole workshop took about 5 hours and my legs hurt like hell, but I stood there with my mouth open wide :-) Have a nice day! Tom |
