Wow,
* I was surprised to see that article!!!! *I live a mile from that tree. *I have been pointing it out to people since I noticed it about 20 years ago. * I didnt think It was even close to the one in Balboa park. *Our bonsai club meets about 100 yards from that one. *They have it all fenced off so you cant walk on the roots.
