Beautiful Holiday Greeting Card
Each year, a Japanese lady friend sends us a beautiful card. This year was especially beautiful. In fact, I love it so much, I scanned it into Photoshop to make a scroll that will be good for late winter, early spring display.
Enjoy Mike

Hi Mike,
Very charming indeed. I think this would look great as a scroll with a bonsai in its winter form. All the best, Aaron

That's one of the great things about being friends of asians in the Art world. My sister was a very good water color painter and my mom a human interest and culture reporter for a the World Journal, the biggest Chinese newspaper in the country so she got to meet many artistic people. Every year around Chinese New Year she always gets a couple cards of the animal of that year according to the Chinese Zodiac. And she gets winter scenes too for Christmas, maybe over the holidays when I head home I'll up some for you guys
