Gallery of Autumn Colours (Fall Colors)

Enjoy this compilation of seasonal color in bonsai around the world! -MORE-

Hello All,

With a week of excessive rain here in the UK, I decided this morning to tilt some of the pots up on "steps" to help drain, while also collecting up the fallen leaves and generally cleaning up the benches.

I then amassed a lot of the trees together in front of my lounge window, so I can enjoy the colours while sitting here watching T.V. or on the laptop compiling this post ! (and reading the forum)

This area is floodlit at night - so am looking forward to dusk, when the shadows add another dimension to the effect.

I find moving around the trees, always adds "freshness" to my viewpoint, while being beneficial in light distribution.

These will remain here for the next month or so, before the more delicate ones go off to winter quarters in the Shed or Garage.

It has been a fairly nice "Autumn" day today, with some sunshine in between showers - so here are two pictures - one in shade, the other in sunlight.

Anyone else with some displays to share ??

Trident fall colors

Hi Guys.
Couldn't help posting this trident in it's fall colors . What do you think? I have another that should be at peak soon. This was photographed last week and since the weekend weather has seen fit to reveal some flurries it has since lost most it's leaves in the wind. It was a joy for a few weeks anyway.
Regards.
Jonathan

Nice trees.
Here's my only "tree" that has impressive colors. It's actually a Acer cutting that I took this summer.

i have some acer palmatum seedlings that started growing this year and the colours are fantastic, there is even a pinky/purle tinge to the leaves aswell. This is my first propper japanese maple, up until now i have been growing colder climate trees with only yellows and oranges, so i am amazed by the colours.

A few Small pictures from Wisconsin

It's been raining here for a week.
I snapped these in the rain yesterday. I'm glad I did. The leave fell from the Ginkgo today.

more - a few Small pictures from Wisconsin

More.

I think the Acer psudosiebldianums (Korean Maple) will make good bonsai.

Good Fall coloring and hardy for the North......zone 3....-40ºF-40C.

A god substitute for Acer palmatum and I can field grow them without worry of them freezing to death.

The tridents were grown from seed.
