Australian rollcall.

Would those Australian users here, interested in natives, be able to make a weekly discussion group on bonsaitalk chat system at a set time?

I feel there is not enough information out there on our natives, and that info we have is outdated (although still usefull). With the number of cultivars we now see things are progressing, but the bonsai sector is static. I hope to change this.

Within this time, I hope to discuss projects, experiments, new cultivars, new articles released, and ones being submitted.

Although the discussion of natives is the topic, talk of exotic species is not off the tables. As long as it can come under two of the three headings of Australian, bonsai or natives it will be fine.

If you want to participate, give me a best suiting time and day.

I would love to but as to when??

My visits are although often, are not regular and nailing down a time for is near impoosible. If the logs from the chat was available would be great though as we could then digest at leisure

I think Fridays at 9:30 EST is best. That's 9pm for S.A, and I think 8pm for W.A.

I don't expect the talks to go long, but the main goal is to discuss projects and research we as a group can do to further the advance of Aus Natives as Bonsai.

I'll see how it goes for a month, and if need be we can make it bi-weekly.
